The Community-Based Natural Resource Management Network (CBNRM Net) is a global online community - and a community of practice - for the many who work on CBNRM in one capacity or another, including as practitioners, managers, funders, researchers, etc. CBNRM Net aims to provide ICT-based and knowledge management tools for better NRM results globally.
Description edit
CBNRM Net was created following an international workshop on CBNRM that took place in Washington DC in the United States in May 1998. While originally a World Bank activity, the network and its website moved to civil society after a couple of years.
This Section provides background and overview on CBNRM, CBNRM Net, CBNRM Net's web site, and the global CBNRM community of practice. See also CBNRM Net's Mission Statement.
