CCW -- A Brief History
From humble beginnings in 1985, Bill and Liz Geddes owners of CCW International Outdoor Clothing, formally known as Caledonian Countrywear Ltd, started retailing at a small rented shop in Callander. The Capital of the Trossachs area of Scotland, Callander, whose surroundings boast some of Scotland’s finest and most beautiful countryside, encompassing walking, climbing, mountain-biking, sailing and fishing.
Subsequently, every two years after the Callander opening, shop properties were purchased in Pitlochry, Perthshire: Peebles, Border region and St Andrews in the Kingdom of Fife. (All shops being situated in Central Scotland)
Our original shop in Callander is now a shoe shop and new larger premises were purchased to accommodate our Head office, a brand new 6,000 sq ft retail shop and our Atrium Cafe Restaurant on the first floor overlooking Ben Ledi and The Callander Crags.
