Legend has it that many years ago our southern sea captain, weary of long voyages at sea, retired to Florida's Cedar River and opened a restaurant to delight his family and friends with his secret recipes for preparing simple, yet delicious "Old Florida" seafood fare.
Today, it is the same wonderful "Old Florida" Cedar River Seafood that comes to you from northern Florida. An area rich in deep sea fishing and pirate lore from the surrounding, ancient ports of Mayport, Fernandina and St. Augustine. Our "Old Florida" style recipes were developed over many generations using only the finest ingredients and freshest seafood from the nearby Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. This restaurant was established in 1988.
