For the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2006 ended March 31, the company reported record results: revenues for the quarter grew 25 percent to $4.55 billion and earnings from continuing operations grew 12 percent to $376 million. Centex reported fourth quarter earnings per diluted share from continuing operations of $2.92, up 17 percent. For fiscal year 2006, Centex reported record revenues of $14.4 billion, up 23 percent from the previous year, and earnings from continuing operations of $1.2 billion, an increase of 36 percent. Earnings per diluted share from continuing operations were up 35 percent to $9.20.
