Founded in 1947, CCRA is one of the Philadelphia's oldest and most powerful civic associations. It is dedicated to maintaining and improving the quality of life in the areas between South Street and JFK Boulevard, Broad Street to the Schuylkill River. Organized originally to save Rittenhouse Square from becoming an underground parking lot, CCRA has helped write the Center City Zoning Code, manage community gardens, arrange weekly sidewalk sweepings, and more!
