- My name is Dr. Lance C. Pulver. I am the author and creator of the website CentralFloridaAnxiety.com. I was born in Miami, Florida in 1953 and have lived in South Florida for most of my life. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida (majoring in psychology) in 1974. I then attended Mississippi State University, which offered an excellent Master's program in Clinical Psychology. I received my Masters degree from MSU in 1979. In 1987 I earned my Ph.D. degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Miami. I completed a one year internship at the Georgia State University Counseling Center in Atlanta, Georgia, and my Post Doctoral Residency at the office of David Bortnick, Ph.D., located in West Palm Beach, Florida. I moved to St. Augustine, Florida in July of 2005, and plan to reside there for some time.
