Established nearly 40 years ago by Robert Findlay, under the name 'Findlay's of Cumnock', Central Garage has continued to expand to become one of the biggest players in the specialist field of nearly new vehicles, within Ayrshire.
Starting off in the vehicle repair sector, Robert Findlay quickly expanded into Car Sales in the 1960's and eventually held the franchises for both Ford and Renault.
Robert's son Robin joined the company straight from school in the 80's and gradually worked his way up through the business. Starting as a mechanic, Robin eventually managed the Workshop and Coachwork Departments.
