- Since 1934, Central Radio Company, Inc. (CRCI) has installed, maintained and repaired some of the most sophisticated Military & Commercial communication equipment throughout the world. During World War II, the company was responsible for navigation & communication equipment on all cargo vessels, between the ports of Norfolk Virginia and Mobile Alabama, as well as providing engineering and design skills for various special projects for the U S Army and U S Navy. During the early 1950’s CRCI became an integral part of the U S Government’s reliance on private industry for repair, overhaul and installation of communication, navigation, and weapons control systems.
