- Milledgeville's Central State Hospital (CSH) is Georgia's largest facility for persons with mental illness and developmental disabilities. The scope of our services is extensive and includes: short-stay acute treatment for consumers with mental illness; residential units and habilitation programs for individuals with developmental disabilities; recovery programs for consumers requiring longer stays; and specialized skilled and ICF nursing centers. Some of our programs serve primarily our central Georgia region while other programs serve many counties throughout the state.
