Founded by educator Gordon W. Davis, Ph.D., CEV recognizes the changes in education and strives to help teachers visually stimulate students using technology. Up-to-date and fast-paced, CEV’s live action footage and excellent subject matter generates timely information that encourages the critical skills of questioning and thinking.
In 1998, the company acquired Visual Education Productions (VEP), an educational service of the California Polytechnic State University Foundation specializing in multimedia resources in Landscaping, Horticulture, and Science. With a library of 1,225 multimedia titles from Child Care to Biology, CEV is the largest producer of Career and Technology Education multimedia materials nationwide. Currently, CEV provides educators with 49 multimedia courses targeted for middle and secondary students.
