Established in Dunedin 5 years ago, with venture capital provided by local investors, until a cornerstone investor purchased 50% of the company and listed it on the so called Unlisted Board. This injection of capital along with a rights issue in May 2002 has raised sufficient funds to reach the current milestone of a US partner by December 2003.
The company has over come many setbacks to perfect the design and meet market expectations. This has involved close co operation with the clinical staff and facilities at The University of Otago Medical School to assemble the data required to prove the concept and bring it to market safely.
