Champlain Construction was established in 1955 by Raymond "Buck" Danyow and his wife Lucy. With Buck and Lucy putting their resources together, they founded CCC. In 1963 they moved from their garage at Birchard Park to their present location. In 1975 they became incorporated as Champlain Construction Company, INC. with their three sons, Larry, John & Jim. In 52 year Champlain Construction has grown to be the largest excavating company in Addison County.
