I inherited my love for animals from my mother and God gave me a talent for relating to and working with animals. As a kid I might chase a stray dog all over town and then tell my mom, "he followed me home". I've almost never been without a dog.
At one point in my life I owned two toy poodles and enrolled in dog grooming school with no idea that I'd ever own my own kennel/grooming shop.
I acquired my first Gordon Setter in 1972, enrolled in obedience training class, and discovered the world of dog shows and field trials.
