Hi, I'm Ellen Ferlazzo.
Cheap Cooking is a site I set up to provide information and resources for people needing—or wanting—to cut back on their expenses. When I needed to cut back on expenses, I scoured used bookstores and garage sales and libraries for information. I'm trying to gather my favorite tips here, along with enough recipes to spark some imagination.
By day, I'm a software designer and freelance writer. Sprez.com is where I focus on software design and web site design. I've worked on handhelds, client-server applications, and web applications. These days I'm doing more web content writing than anything else with a focus on natural search engine optimization. I have a few blogs, including ones on small businesses, cooking, reading, and writing. And I started some new sites focused on gardening and urban-homesteading.
