The Chebucto Community Net is a volunteer organization which strives to enable all people in the Greater Halifax Region to participate in an electronic public space.
Chebucto Community Net's goal is to assist users to gather and share information, to participate in exchanges and dialogue that enrich their lives and their community.
Chebucto Community Net is more than computer equipment. It's about people and their community. This community is operated by the Chebucto Community Net Society. Users can become members of this not-for-profit society. Members of the Society elect the Board of Directors, whose members formulate policy, and individually chair the many volunteer committees on which Chebucto relies for its operations and services.
