Founded in 1998, Chesapeake Chocolates is an independent, family-owned and operated business located in Herndon, Virginia. We are committed to building a community-based business that produces chocolate confections of the highest quality, products that are better than mass-produced alternatives.

Co-owners Bernadette and Doris both trained with a popular chocolate factory in Massachusetts (the state in which the first chocolate factory was located). We are continually developing and refining new recipes and our families are always willing tasters.
