- In the last 12 months we have seen considerable changes in the type of enquiries we are receiving. Constant news reports about China’s latest ‘biggest’, ‘largest’ or ‘fastest’ are leading clients to ask for an ever widening range of tours. Also, many people have travelled either with us before or with other tour operators during the last 15 years or so, and they now want to visit an area away from the headline attractions. Also many of our clients travel to China on business and they take the opportunity to take a few days exploring the areas of China in which they are doing business. You will see from our brief description of all of our tours opposite we have given you an even wider choice this year as we try to reflect the wishes of our clients. As you will see we have given some advanced information about our plans for the Beijing 2008 Olympics. This information is still very sketchy but we are pleased to have agreed to collaborate with Sportsworld Ltd the exclusive ticket supplier of Olympic events for UK spectators. We have noticed, during the last 2 years, that there has been in an increase in the number of families (with teenage children) who have travelled with us. We have considerable experience of adapting our tours to make them more child friendly. Please just ask our staff and they will alter the itinerary to suit your family’s interest. Why not try Disney, Chinese style, with an extension to Hong Kong for a 3 day ticket to Disney? Over the years we have received many lovely photographs and letters of thanks from returning clients. During this coming year we will add a blog to our web site to enable clients to ‘post’ their comments. Also, we will run an annual photographic competition. We will ask our clients, upon their return, to submit their best photographs to us so that we can publish them on our web site. We will ask our brochure designer, Stephen Rowling, to judge the best photograph each year and the winner will be awarded a £500 voucher to be redeemed on any of our 10 day or more holidays published in our brochure. Finally, I would like to thank everybody who has been associated with our company, as we start to plan our 10th anniversary celebration in November 2007.
