The CIF-San Diego Section is committed to preparing boys and girls for a better tomorrow and to working with parents, educators, and the community to establish and to maintain excellent high school athletic programs that teach values, character, and citizenship.
The CIF-San Diego Section encourages and assists high school students, through participation in interscholastic athletics, to develop and strengthen values, attitudes, and skills that will promote their personal growth as individuals and as members of a diverse society.
The CIF-San Diego Section is a voluntary association of public, private, and parochial high schools. The Board of Managers is the governing body. The members of the Board are public school superintendents and private school representatives of 29 school districts and 111 high schools.
