The war against cancer is particularly important for New Jersey, a state that ranks in the worst ten nationally for cancer incidence. While our survival rate is increasing due to improvements in prevention and early detection, much remains to be done.
At The Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ), we are committed to learning more about cancer and making our discoveries available to the public to aid in disease prevention.
As New Jersey's first and only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, CINJ joins an elite network of 39 Comprehensive Cancer Centers nationwide who are leaders in cancer treatment, research and education.
