City Barn antiques is located in the heart of DUMBO, the growing art and design district situated at Brooklyn’s historic industrial waterfront. Established in 1970 and spanning two generations of family ownership, we have continuously operated a full time retail business dedicated to offering the public quality hand picked merchandise and professional service.

City Barn has handled several furniture styles over the years including Victorian and golden oak, arts and crafts, art deco, and mid century modern. At every stage of the stores evolution we have chosen to specialize in one particular style, offering customers a comprehensive selection within that style plus the benefit of in depth knowledge that naturally accompanies such focus. It is with this dedicated enthusiasm that we specialize in Heywood-Wakefield furniture.

Though we have handled significant amounts of Wakefield since the early 1980s, it has become City Barn’s trademark since 1992.
