Clackamas Women's Services

CWSOR.jpg If you or someone you know is being or has been in a domestic violence situation, please call our crisis line

We provide a 24-hour crisis line to all women, teens, and children in need, two shelters, a transitional housing program, counseling, food, clothing, restraining order assistance, support groups for women and children, volunteer opportunities, and outreach to rural populations in Clackamas county. We primarily serve women from Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington Counties in Oregon State. We can provide referrals to other agencies, support groups, resources and more.

There are six guiding principles that direct all of our efforts:

  • We believe that every person has the right to live free of violence.
  • We honor the differences among women and children of all ethnic, sexual, religious and gender backgrounds by providing accessible services.
  • We empower women and children to make their own healthy life choices.
  • We recognize that violence against women and children is a deep-seated societal problem.
  • We educate the community about the impact of domestic and sexual violence.
  • We support a coordinated community response to family violence that holds abusers accountable.
