Description
We both work full-time for the State of California, Department of Justice, Bureau of Forensic Services in Sacramento, California as Criminalists specializing in Forensic DNA Analysis. We live in a residential area in Suisun City, California which is about halfway between Sacramento and San Francisco. Shawn has a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego and a Masters in Biochemistry from the University of California, Riverside. Deanna has a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology from the University of California at Davis. Deanna has been riding and competing for many years, but has always been interested in beginning a breeding business. In 2003 we leased Anne Schmidt's mare, EM Flair, and bred her to Grand Cru. In April of 2004 our filly "Abby" was born. Through the leasing of Anne's mare we got to know Anne and we met a number of wonderful people in the Portland, Oregon area. In the spring of 2005 Anne mentioned to us that she was going to be retiring from the business. With Deanna's love for horses, and the desire to begin a breeding business we jumped at the opportunity to own Classic Sires! We both continue to work full-time, but will always be there to help you with your breeding needs and questions. We look forward to helping you breed champion performance horses!
