18th May: The Man of the Match result for the last game of the season against Staplemead Sports has been updated.
Claverton Academical was founded in 1966 and entered straight into the Bath and District league. The Accies have been there there ever since, but with a bit of hard graft and good luck, maybe, just maybe the Accies could get promoted out of the Bath and District league and into the dizzy heights of the next league (whatever that is!?)
Last year we finished 3rd in Division 3 of the Bath and District League. We were extremely pissed off that 2 new teams were entered directly into division 2, since a few teams dropped out during the 2004 - 2005 season. Instead of promoting more teams from division 3 to even the divisions, the committee in their infinite wisdom decided to enter 2 new teams!
