Description

The Cleveland Speedway is a 1/3 mile clay-banked dirt track oval car racing facility, located just North of Chattanooga Tennessee outside the town of Cleveland. The speedway has been around for more than twenty-five (25) years and since it's conception has grown into one of the Souths premiere dirt track racing facility. Equipped with state of the art computer's, the first-class racing operations of the track, help make the Cleveland Speedway a favorite place for race fans to see; Live/Non-Stop dirt track racing excitement. Of the five different/weekly racing divisions in competition at the track, the Super Late Model (SLM) division is the most anticipated. Racer's from around the country numbering into the hundreds of thousands compete at tracks in their regions, in hopes that someday they'll have what it takes to race SLM's.

The other racing divisions at the track include the Limited Late Models, the Hobby division, the B-Hobby division, the Pony Stock division and the Front Wheel Drive Compact division all of which are packed with racing excitement. Weekly (Saturday night) events begin in March and go til October, culminating with the annual running of the "Gobbler 100" in November. Points are awarded weekly and the highest points talley at the end of the season is celebrated as "Division" or "Track" Champion's. The Southern All-Star dirt racing series highlights the schedule throughout the year, bringing with it it's own group of top SLM racers to race against the weekly Cleveland Speedway regulars (a.k.a.
