We believe that only the finest sculpting and careful hand finishing of a memorial is appropriate so we insist on working to the highest standards. Every single letter of each hand carved inscription is carefully drawn by hand and painstakingly sculpted, with a hammer and chisel, by our highly trained craftsmen.
All our memorials are individually made and we are happy to modify any design to your personal requirements or design a memorial with you. Home visits are made Monday to Friday both during the day and in the evening so that memorials can be discussed in familiar surroundings. Visits to our workshops and showroom in Dover are also welcomed at any time Monday to Friday and on Saturday mornings.
Not only do Cleverley & Spencer create new memorials but they also believe it is important to maintain and repair current memorials. Renovations can be undertaken on most kinds of memorials no matter what the size, from a basic cremation tablet to the most ornate of memorials. No work is undertaken until a fully itemised quote has been given and agreed with the client.
