Clothespin is dedicated to living life well and allowing others to do the same. We make our clothing out of authentic, never worn vintage materials, organic yarns, and refurbished original vintage pieces because we believe their quality and beauty to be unequaled by most products made today and also because we believe in leaving the greenest footprint possible. By using vintage fabrics, buttons, trim and lace, we are not adding to the already gigantic amount of waste in the world today and instead, are reincarnating these forgotten treasures into one of a kind collectables.
Clothespin comes from the heart of it’s designer Gale Parker. After having worked in the fashion industry for over 30 years, Gale wanted to create a “green” collection of clothing for women of all ages that would be feminine, flattering, and fun. Her inspiration comes from the never before worn pieces of vintage rayon fabric adorned with vintage French, beads, buttons and lace.
