SkydiveZone - Cloud 9 Skydiving New Zealand

Cloud 9 Skydiving has been selling Skydiving and Parachute equipment since 1992, and in that time has become probably NZ's largest supplier to both the Civilian and Military markets. The business started with the sole agency of CYPRES, a German manufactured, computer based automatic activation device for freefall reserve parachutes, and rapidly expanded into all facets of equipment sales.
Along with sales of equipment, we are able to back up our service with maintenance of parachute equipment, including inspection and re-packing of emergency parachute systems. We also produce NZ's only Parachuting/Skydiving newsletter, The Flying Pig, on a 3-monthly basis.
The names behind the company are Kate Wills & Andy Pine. We have both been Skydiving for 20 and 25 years, and hold numerous ratings including Tandem Master, Static-Line and AFF Instructor and Parachute Technician, and have had several years experience running a Drop Zone. Andy has represented New Zealand at World level in Canopy Relative Work Competition, and is one of NZ's foremost Display organisers. Kate has participated in a Freefall Formation World Record attempt, was NZ's first female Tandem Master and Parachute Technician, and has 100 hours flying experience behind her. We have been at the forefront of modern equipment and maintenance, and have attended two Parachute Industry Association Symposiums in the US in recent years.
