Located in a historical railroad town, we could be considered a "Diamond in the Rough" in this southwestern part of Virginia. The Club Car was purchased by Cindy and Glenn Perry in the spring of 2000, and within a few short years, grew beyond the walls of our previous quaint location. They seized the opportunity, though, to renovate a historical landmark known for years as Farrar's Pharmacy and, at the same time, created an environment where patrons can "walk down memory lane", browse the classy gift shop and enjoy our delectable menu.
This shop is a deli-style full service cafe with only the finest Boars Head meats and cheeses, scrumptous salads, and "just like mom's" homemade soups. We cater to every walk of life featuring items such as local and international fine wines, Robert Rothschild sauces and Ghirardelli chocolates for the sophisticated palate as well as "back to basics" mouth watering chicken salad, an array of OXO accessories for any kitchen, and a full line of inspirational books, cards and angels designed for any shopper.
Catering is a big part of our business... Let us cater your meetings! We can provide impressive and delicious breakfast trays loaded with danishes, cinnamon buns, bagels, etc. with gourmet coffees or outstanding lunch platters with a variety of meats and cheeses on assorted breads, homemade deli salads, as well as a host of "simple but serious" cookies, cakes and pies from which to choose!
