Taylor, established in 1876, is a town of nearly 14,700 located in the heart of Texas about 35 miles northeast of Austin, the capital city. The I & GN train tracks laid down through Williamson County quickly brought commerce and development to the newly-settled town. City National Bank opened its doors shortly after in 1900 and, along with Taylor and the rest of Central Texas, has been growing ever since.
