CoCCA is an member owned organization that works on the behalf of the ccTLD community (country code top level domains). CoCCA helps ccTLD Administrators through harmonised policies, registrar liaison, and low-cost, high-feature open source registry operations.

CoCCA members cover the globe. The unifying language is English, but we come from over 25 countries. The software is configurable to whichever language you provide a translation for. We currently have the web interface translated to Spanish, French, Chinese, Korean, Hindi, Arabic and Japanese.

The CoCCA Registry tool was written to accommodate diverse business plans and implementation schemes. TLD operators may choose any currency or language; currently English, Spanish, French, Chinese, Korean, Hindi, Arabic and Japanese are in use. The base code is written in Java and adheres to the engineering specifications (RFCs) for registration, resolution, and WhoIs information. It can also be configured for use with Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs) and ENUM. It supports IPv6 and DNSSEC. It is secure and standards-based.
The CoCCA software adds ease and elegance to registry operations and can be configured in an afternoon.
CoCCA also provides a set of "Best Practice" Policy standards for use by its members. The policy framework is AUP (acceptable use) based and provides the registry operator with the opportunity to use their discretion for take-down of domains in preventing cyber-crime and rights infringements. This policy framework deeply discourages squatting, cyber-crime, and the Complaint Resolution Procedure ensures complaints are dealt with amicably at very low cost through the Ombudsman or panel of dispute resolution experts.
