Summary
Graduating with a First in Graphic Design from Central St. Martin’s in 1991, Colin started one of the UK’s first digital design studios in London in the height of that economic recession. Colin has worked as a designer and educator for the last 16 years. Colin’s work was featured in ‘Factory Records – The Complete Graphic Album’, Matthew Robertson (Thames & Hudson 2006), 'Understanding Hypermedia' and in 'The Cyberspace Lexicon' by Bob Cotton & Richard Oliver (Phaidon 1993 & 1995) and Multimedia Graphics (Thames & Hudson 1996). His work has also appeared in Eye, Blueprint, The Observer, Radio 5 and oh-so-nearly on the BBC Design Awards. As an lecturer, Colin led the MA interactive design course at Central Saint Martins for seven years, and has taught at the Lux, London; Lighthouse, Brighton and at Metro New Media. Colin was a Visiting Lecturer on the MA Interaction Design course at the Royal College of Art from 2001 to 2004.
