Earth Day is put on primarily to promote greater environmental awareness, and to allow our community a chance to focus upon the ways we can live in a more eco-friendly, sustainable fashion. The Earth Day Festival features music, art, educational displays, kids’ activities and more that bring home the fact that we share this Earth with all the other people and life forms on the planet.
The Earth Day Festival is also a Community Volunteer Fair, coordinated in conjunction with the Voluntary Action Center. We strongly encourage all community groups in search of volunteers to participate, regardless of whether they work directly on environmental issues.
