Common Content is a catalog of content, a repository of information about works made available under licenses from the Creative Commons project, or in the Public Domain. For more information on the how's of Common Content, check out our How It Works page.
The Common Content catalog is open for content creators to add their content to, providing a central place for the public to discover new and useful content for use in derivative works or whatever the license chosen by the copyright owner allows. If you manage content licensed under the Creative Commons, please Register, and then head over to our Add Content section.
We welcome your feedback, this site is a constant work in progress, and if you have any suggestions or notice any bugs, please let us know! If you're interesting in helping us out you can contact us, and we'll find some way to put you to work. If you'd like to help support Common Content financially (pay the hosting costs, send us to the Cook Islands for a 'development retreat', that sort of thing), you can send us a few bucks via PayPal (not tax deductable, sorry):
