Community Links is an innovative inner city charity running community-based projects in east London. Founded in 1977, we now help over 50,000 vulnerable children, young people and adults every year, with most of our work delivered in Newham, one of the poorest boroughs in Europe. Our successes influence both community-based organisations nationwide and government policy. 80 percent of staff live in east London and many of these are former users of our services.
Our Work with Children and Young People Our charity runs a network of youth projects across east London, giving opportunities to children and young people from 0-19 years.
Our Work with Adults Despite significant improvement in recent years, east London continues to represent one of the largest concentrations of urban deprivation in Europe.
