Taipei Computer Association (TCA) was established as a not-for-profit organization on November 5, 1974. In just three decades, its corporate members have grown from 15 to over 4,000. The association is a well-recognized representative of Taiwan's IT industry, as its members accounted for approximately 90% of Taiwan IT industry's total production value. TCA's vision is to become the driving force of Taiwan's IT industry and also a world-class business association.
TCA organizes Taiwan's top IT tradeshows throughout the year to facilitate industry development and also to promote Taiwan IT companies. TCA is also active in assisting Taiwan IT companies establish a strong presence in the international market through exhibitions and events.
COMPUTEX TAIPEI, the world's 2nd largest IT exhibition and the most reputable IT exhibition in Asia, takes place in early June each year. Co-organized by TCA and TAITRA, the show had flourished immensely since it was first held in 1981, and has attracted nearly 30,000 professional buyers with 1,300 exhibitors participating in this event each year.
