Tony Donovan Photography
Description
In 1974, I met Amos Congdon at his sawmill in Lyme, Connecticut, I've photographed the Congdon Family at work there ever since. "Sharpening the Saw" is in the Yale University Art Gallery permanent collection.
The Belfast photographs were published in The Hartford Courant's Northeast Magazine. Other photo credits include: The New York Times, Washington Post, Leica Fotographie International, and Fine Woodworking.
I photograph weddings with a photojournalist's style, shooting lots of pictures, black and white and color, alternating and engaging my subjects to make a picture with me and then growing distant to record events as they happen.
