She is currently working as a licensed pharmacist, and she has a B.S. and a M.S. in nutrition. Cooking has always been a great love and a creative outlet for the author. She believes nutrition is a factor that strongly influences one's health and is completely within one's own control. She created most of the recipes, the layout, and the cover. She released this new cookbook in April 2004.
Katy Wilcox is responsible for the section divider design of the first book and also happens to be the sister of the author. She is the mother of four children and she is a Yale University trained divinity school graduate. She resides in Glastonbury, CT.
