Description
A Long History of Standards
In 1959 C. H. Brackett founded a production machine shop to manufacture hydraulic fittings and precision fasteners for aircraft. As the business grew it became apparent to the company that wildland and industrial firefighters needed a line of tough, well built nozzles and valves that were not available at the time.
In 1989, Cordova Fire Equipment Company was established to meet this need. With the know how and suggestions from many of the nation's most respected fire suppression specialists, Cordova embarked on a new journey to manufacture products to help firefighters do their job better.
In January 2002, Tyco Fire and Security Services purchased Cordova. The commitment of Tyco Fire and Security Services will ensure the continued growth and dedication to our present and future customer needs.
