Description
Don Bua and his wife Sylvia have been avid unique doll collectors for many years. Don became fascinated with the work of one unique doll artist named Faith Wick. A short while later, he had an opportunity to meet Faith and was encouraged by her to begin sculpting dolls himself.
In 1994, Don and his wife moved to northern Georgia and established The Cottage Door in the historical town of Dillard, Georgia.
Nestled in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, Don pursued his trade of sculpting original artist and portrait dolls in addition to offering a wide assortment of collector dolls.
