- The Shop was conceived by Eleanor Stanton. A mother, with two horse loving daughters showing on a budget, she felt there was a need for a tack shop that didn't treat everyone like "money grew on trees". She also came from a family of horsemen, and married one as well. Her family was involved in showing, hunting, racing, breeding, boarding and transporting horses. It gave her a broad background from which she drew to help her customers. Service, friendly advise and "the golden rule" were her credence with her customers.
