Country World is a weekly, regional agricultural newspaper attractive to ag producers and rural residents. The newspaper covers approximately 155 Texas counties from the Red River to the Gulf of Mexico, and reaches readers throughout Texas and in neighboring states as well. Country World, a product of Echo Publishing Company in Sulphur Springs, Texas, published its first issue on Nov. 5, 1981. Then, the newspaper covered about 12 counties in Northeast Texas.
