Description
The inspiration for the new look was the theatre's Art Deco building. Distinctive elements from the building, and a muted colour scheme, were used to hint at the 1920's character.
As the site will be maintained by staff members, it was important to create a layout that would work for them over time. Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and server-side includes are used to create formating rules that will allow staff to quickly update the playlists and news events without fiddling with too much code.
The site was designed by InHouse Logic, an entrepreneurial company providing reliable, honest, and helpful technical marketing services to the small business community that includes thoughtful web design. The overall project was undertaken by a County Theater Board member who is a professional Internet programmer with several years of experience in web design and maintenance.
