Glenn J. Kashurba, M.D., is a nationally recognized Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist who has lived and worked in Somerset County, Pennsylvania since 1989.

Dr. Kashurba volunteered with the American Red Cross after the crash of Flight 93. He accompanied the heroes’ families when they visited the crash site in the week following 9/11. He then dedicated the next year to research, write and publish Courage After the Crash. All the profits from the book were donated to September 11th and children’s-related charities. His second book on the subject, Quiet Courage in America’s County, will be published later this year.

Dr. Kashurba is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Drexel University. He is a nationally known writer, speaker and advocate for children and families and has appeared in numerous TV, radio and print media across the U.S. and internationally.
