- Cowboy Photographers and Artists International (formerly CAPA), is an professional organization designed for cowboy, western, and rodeo artist from around the world. In our former incarnation as CAPA, we concentrated basically on western life in America. But over the years, we have found that there is a universal interest in this genre, and our interest now is to bring together all artists working in this genre. The spirit of the subject is what is important - it is the story telling of the art. In addition, photography is experiencing an acceptance as art - something which should never have been in doubt.
