- CPSW was established as a non-governmental development organization in January 1987 and got registered in the same year under SR Act, 1860 and FCR Act, 1976. It was initiated as an association of trained social workers and aimed at promotion of social work practice and welfare of the disadvantaged and marginalized sections of the society. It worked with commitment and professionalism from its inception.
