About Us
Craftmark, a Cross-Border Economic Development Initiative, is a partnership between County Down Crafts and Louth County Enterprise Board/Louth Craftmark funded by The EU Programme for Peace & Reconciliation, administered by Co-operation Ireland under Measure 5.1 Cross-Border Co-operation: Increasing Cross-border Development Opportunities.
Craftmark came into being as a result of the 2 Networks meeting through The Network of Craft Development Officers Ireland - North & South and realising that there were great advantages and economies of scale in forming a partnership between the 2 Networks.
Craftmark's main objective is to improve cross-border network structures and projects which strengthen the network of Craft Enterprises which produce, promote and present Craft and broaden the range of audiences and participation in the Craft/Applied Art/Design Sector.
