- This site is not a front for a cult, a new religious movement, or an old religious movement. It is run by Anthony McCann, and while I was raised a Catholic, I now claim no religious affiliation whatsoever. I claim no special authority for inviting people to think about gentleness other than that I am a human being, and I believe it would be good if we all were to speak more openly about the possibilities for gentleness in our lives. I want gentleness to be important in my life. As a value, it helps me be more aware of, and more appreciative of the gentle people in my life. They are my teachers.
