Trevor McDonald, Gee Walker and Rt Rev John Sentamu shortlisted for RIMA Media Personality Award
Gee Walker, mother of Anthony Walker, tragically murdered last July, has been shortlisted for the Media Personality of the Year award in the CRE's Race In the Media Awards. ITN's Trevor McDonald and Rt Rev John Sentamu have also been shortlisted. The winner will be announced tomorrow (Wednesday 14 June) at an evening ceremony at the Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden.
Coronation Street, Eastenders and Silver Street in running for media prize
Coronation Street, EastEnders and Silver Street, BBC Asian Network's radio drama, are all strong contenders to win the Broadcast Soap prize at the 2006 RIMA awards as the CRE announced the shortlist today.
