Cre8Camp is an unconference influenced by BarCamp, but with a creative twist. It was developed for those working in creative industries or wanting to work in creative industries. Cre8camp was co-founded by Steve Gehlen and Bram Pitoyo, with help from Sadie Medley, as an outgrowth of the launch process for the new Creative Conference (Cre8Con) as a way to foster grassroots interaction and community among creatives. Both Cre8Camp and Cre8Con are non-profit, community-driven initiatives.
