About the Artist
Greetings - My name is Cyndie Shaner and I am the owner/artist of Creative Glass Works located in Corvallis, Oregon. I started the business in 2002 when friends asked to hire me to make custom Christmas presents for their family and friends. My client list grew rapidly by word of mouth. I have been doing stained glass for 2 years and have made over 200 pieces. I fell in love with the beauty of all the available glasses and am excited by the challenge of selecting glass to create a beautiful "picture". This is truly my passion. Being a chemical engineer, I pay close attention to the mechanical integrity and precision of my pieces as well as the overall beauty. I am committed to providing my clients with a high quality beautiful piece. I enjoy creating a custom piece for my client that they see in their "minds eye".
